  • The best time to book your senior session is during the spring or early summer before your senior year, ideally May through July. This gives you the widest selection of dates, the best outdoor lighting, and plenty of time before yearbook deadlines (which typically fall in September or October for most central Illinois schools).

    Booking early is especially important if you want a downtown Decatur session or a creative setup with dynamic lighting, fog, or special effects, those sessions require extra planning and studio time, and peak season fills up fast.

    Quick timeline:

    • May–July: Prime booking window. Best availability and ideal weather for outdoor and downtown locations.

    • August: Still possible, but sessions book up quickly as the school year approaches.

    • September–October: Yearbook deadline season. Book as early as possible if you haven't already.

    • November+: Off-season sessions are available, but outdoor options are limited.

    Pro tip: Reserve your session at least 4–6 weeks in advance to guarantee your preferred date and allow time for any custom banner or cap and gown portrait orders.

      1-hour senior session, 20 professionally edited digital images

    • Signature — $550
      90-minute session, 35 professionally edited digital images

    • Senior Athlete — $1,000
      Senior session + athlete session (two separate 2-hour sessions), 60 professionally edited digital images, $100 product credit

  • Yes! I offer cap and gown sessions, with priority given to seniors who have booked a senior portrait package with me during that school year. If additional availability remains, I may open a limited number of sessions to other graduates. Contact me for current availability and scheduling.
